my 19th birthday

Received only few presents???no birthday party???and no element of surprise???All of that doesn't really matter...

It was 11th feb,one day before my birthday,i went out celebrating my birthday with Liching (the girl who has same birth date as mine).Btw,this is the first time we celebrate our birthday together...We ate pizza, bought ourselves a cake and made birthday wish together and we chatted on lots of stuff...Did not count down for our birthday because next day had school...

Liching

Back to home,it was about 11 something...Lied on the bed waiting for birthday wishes from friends...Unexpectedly,the first one who sent me birthday text message was a guy, kinda dissapointed...LOL...waited for few minutes more and familiar text-message-received ring tone rang, birthday wishes flooded my inbox.Mostly just-known friends and a few high school classmates...Having insomnia,i switched on my computer, chatted on msn with friends like i wasn't having school on the next day...It was 1 o'clock then...

Nothing much happened in school on 12th feb besides birthday wishes are spoken and birthday song was sang...At night, sis.charissa and bro.clement bought me a piece of cake from Secret Recipe,it was my favourite Oreo Cheese Cake...LOL...

I was not really celebrating my birthday on 12th feb,but it's more on 11th,12th and 13th because my classmates gave me birthday presents only after 12th feb...haha!!!

I'm 19...this would be the last birthday of mine on tenth-digit of "1"...I must take up some responsibilities now as a grown-up...

I must care for my family and my friend more...

I must help those in needs...

I must study hard and pass my stpm excellently to repay my parents...

I must give my best in serving the GOD...

I must save up for the future...

and more and more...

I'm exhausted after half day of travelling...must get some rest now...

Life-Reflecting Gag

An engineer is standing outside the Pearly Gates."Sorry,"St.Peter says,"but you're in the wrong place."He snaps his finger and the engineer ended up in hell.

Dissatisfied with the level of comfort there, the engineer starts making improvements.

One day,God phones Satan to ask how things are going.

"Great,"he answers,"We've got central air and escalators now. There's no telling what the engineer will come up with next."

"You've got an engineer?"God says.

"There's been a mistake, send him back up here or I'll sue."

"Yeah, right,"Satan chuckles."Where are you going to find a lawyer?"

So
sardonic and cynical,isn't it???

Loo's Talk

First lesson of biology tuition in 2009 started with some advices, encouragements as well as introduction to several types of studying methods (as expected) from my dear tutor,Mr.Henry Loo.

He actually took half an hour for that,no kidding...He would really make such a good counsellor if he wasn't a teacher. He talked on lots of stuffs,so I'll just quote some of them which what I remember down and inside the bracket is my comment...

"In your upper six life, nothing can be more important than your health, you should make health your priority." (I'm absolutely agree with that..LOL~)

"Bright student never sleep before twelve." (this is what I've been training myself and I'm quite satisfied with the turnout, although sometime i ain't studying...LOL~)

"You guys can never never never take nap, remember that!!!" (I was like...WOW,I'm a little surprised by that, but as some of the papers will be in the afternoon,so we really have to practice out this.)

"Usually thinner guys are more likely to achieve better in their studies!!!" (LOL~I was so so so overwhelmed by the happiness when I listened to this that suddenly my mind isn't thinking about gaining weight anymore...LOL~)

Then he continued by telling us about what happened when he went to Melbourne, one of his student's working as a specialist over there, engagement of his daughter...What impressed me the most was the story about a guy who age two years above us are planning to take up a medical degree.Meanwhile,he has got his pharmacy degree and is under one-year training to be a registered pharmacist.

Stories told by others might or might not be true,I don't know...But by no mean of harm, they have really benefited me a lot..Even if they are lies, what do I lose by listening to that???In this year,I'm looking forward to learn more from him.FFHHEEWWW, don't play play,he is an experienced teacher with over thirty years of teaching experience!! LOL~

P:S Now you know,this loo isn't that loo...lol
